FARBENMIX GIVE-AWAY

I had some groovy new Velours and Ribbon arrive this week for farbenmix.de

Farbenmix produce such fun things to add to your sewing projects. Sewing need never be boring AGAIN! Check them all out here RIBBONS, VELOURS, PATTERNS.

The VERY first farbenmix pattern I ever sewed, was a pair of PAULA pants. In left over cord scraps I had lying around. Everywhere Miss Lil  ( then 1!) wore them, people commented. They were adorable and I was hooked. And, so what else could I do, but bring them to Australia! The farbenmix.de range continues to grow and thanks to the internet, we get the new releases as quick as our fellow sewers in Europe.

I have a little Farbenmix Give-away this week. If you would like to win a Farbenmix pack of 3 patterns, buttons, and 3 metres of assorted ribbon...tell me YOUR most fave farbernmix pattern! And WHY is it your Fave!

I'll announce a winner next Friday 30th!

Hard...I'll say Amelie and the mumma version also because although I haven't made it yet!! :P I love the versions I've seen and am itching to make my own :)

Definitely the Olivia - even if I have only ever sewn the underdress :) Why? Because it can be a snuggly winter dress with a funky hood, or a cool summer dress without a hood. Or anything in between really.
Oh, and it is super fast to sew up, so perfect for a last minute present!

I have never actually used a Farbenmix pattern, but I have heard so many good things about them. As the mother of two small boys, I really think the Pitt pants would be a lovely pattern to have.

I still love the Anna wrap dress. So much room for variation. And such a long wearing piece. Mae is still wearing her size 1/2, now as a top, and I can't wait for her to grow out of it so I can get on to another one :)

I haven't made any Farbenmix patterns yet - but I do own the book with the patterns in it. I do love the Anna wrap dress.

You know what I refuse to name a favourite. Sorry, please don't make me pick just one. Redondo and Olivia are always fabulous, but I love just as much making up one I haven't used before.

I love the Anna dress. I have made it a few times already and I always make it reversible so I get 2 dresses in one! Great for when one side is dirty and you are out, just flip it around, voila! A new dress!

Definitely the Olivia (or the Antonia). I can't wait to sew one of those two. Soooooo cute! The farbenmix patterns just fit so well, how can anyone not love this company.

Thanks for the Great Giveaway! My favorite pattern is the "Insa". For summer or winter, it is a quick and easy skirt to make. When my daughter had a late summer growth spurt, I made three in one afternoon. sharonj

I would have to say that Anna dress - because it is the only one that I have so far - maybe I should change that:)

I love the "Florina" top I made for myself (yep, none of this sewing for the kids - it's all mine!!). It fits so well and was so easy to sew up while the boy was sleeping. I've got "Valeska" waiting to be done now too and I can't wait to get to it!
