LOOK WHO'S SEWING NOW??

Yep, Bon!! She is in full force sewing mode! I can't keep her out of my fabric stash now. She has big plans for items she wants to sew...she's sketching her ideas, and designing garments for her little sis. I am pleased that someone in this house has time to sew..I wish it were me!

Here's some crafty offerings from Miss Bon (6) The other pic is her Japanese pendant she made, a WASHI.

All this craftiness from my daughter has prompted a Kids Show off Forum over at Crafty Mamas. It's only right, after all.

Some Ottobre Sewing

Ottobre Design 2/2003

From 2/2003, patterns 17 and 25. The pants have these cute raw edged heart pockets on the bum of them. I also left the bottom hems to fray, after zigzaging around the bottom. A few more washes and they will fray up nicely. These pants have heaps of variations you can do to the pattern. Very quick and easy. And, boy, do I need quick projects at the moment! I am trying to get one project completed each day, no matter how busy I get with LIFE.

OVER AT CRAFTY MAMAS

We are having a handmade key chain SWAP, which promises to be a hoot! I am dragging out all my Japanese craft books looking for an idea.

CHOCOLATE, COFFEE, FABRIC, SCRAPS!

We are having a Recipe Card SWAP each month over at Crafty Mamas. The cards and recipes from everyone are just so fantasic!! My pal Nikkou Hitori included a special gift for me with her recipe card...this gorgeous recycled denim frame! She is so clever! It has this nifty dragonfly knot too, that she does. Dragonflies are very symbolic, I love it!

Nikkou sells her crafty wares through the
  • Crafty Mamas MARKETPLACE

  • and also in her Store
  • Nikkou Hitori

  • Thankyou Nikkou Hitori!
